The Institute is one of two public buildings in Farnhill, along with the Chapel. It belongs to all of us; and is available to all. As a Committee we’d like nothing better than to see the building being used far more often than it is at present.

Several of the Institute Committee went to the recent Farnhill Parish Council Annual Meeting.  This was well attended, and with some interesting comments raised.

Two of the recurring themes were around the changes seen in village life in recent years, and around the lack of opportunity for village residents to meet in a social setting.  Where better than the Institute ....?
